Social Club

If you are working at one of our volunteer projects in Cape Town, you can attend activities organised by the Social Club from our language school. You find the schedule below and you can book your favourite activities online. 

The activities are a great way to visit all the must-see places in Cape Town and surroundings. Our Social Club is also a great place to meet other volunteers and international students from the language school.

  • It is your responsibility to cancel if you will not be able to attend a tour or activity.

The annual trance music event, Sunflower Festival, is back in 2017, featuring local and imported artists. Blisters For Bread

The Peninsula School Feeding Association (PSFA) presents the 49th annual fundraising event, the Blisters for Bread Charity Family Fun Walk in association with Lucky Star. The event includes two routes along the Sea Point Promenade, a 10km walk that starts at 7.30am and 5km walk that starts at 8am. Every person who enters receives a medal.

Cancellation Policy, Terms and Conditions:

It is your responsibility to cancel if you can’t attend a tour or activity. You will be liable for the tour cost if you do not show up for the tour and have not cancelled in time. Cancelation times for short tours: 6hours before departure. For day tours, weekend activities and tours longer than one day: 48hours before departure.

I agree to the condition that, while every precaution will be taken for my safety and welfare and for the care of my possessions, I will hold blameless and indemnify all persons, Good Hope Studies (the School), CapeTowning Tours and all other organizations associated with this tour or activity, should any prejudice, loss, damage, illness or injury occur to me during this tour/activity. This includes an indemnity against recovery of costs resulting from damage, loss and/or medical conditions or hospitalization. 

The company reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation, and transport along the way should circumstances dictate. Many of these outdoor activities are weather dependent, which could force changes in the itinerary. The guide will try his or her best to arrange events according to prevailing weather conditions.
