The Volunteer House is the most popular accommodation for our volunteers. Here you can meet other volunteers and share your experience.
It is very affordable and therefore ideal for long-term stays.
The average age is 18 to 25. Students visiting our language school may also stay at the Volunteer House.
There are single and shared rooms with bathrooms to share. Further there is a kitchen for self-catering, a common area, a garden and a pool. Wifi is available free of charge.
The Volunteer House is a private house in an upmarket residential area. You can reach the nearest MetroRail station within 5 minutes.
The commercial centre of the southern suburbs as well as Rondebosch, an area frequented by university students, can be reached within a 15-minute walk. In both areas, you will find shops, restaurants, bars, banks and everything else you might need.
We also provide a shuttle service from the Volunteer House to projects which cannot easily be reached by public transport.
