Table Mountain – OBVIOUSLY :)
Table Mountain is most certainly on the top of every travellers list, and us locals love to explore it too. You have a variety of ways to see why Table Mountain is voted as a Natural World Wonder.
The Wine Region
The Cape Winelands is such an incredibly beautiful region, located in and around the mountains around Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschhoek, it is worth seeing even if you don't drink alcohol at all. Most of the wine farms have restaurants where you can enjoy a meal. Fairview wine farm has an amazing cheese and wine pairing and The Spice Route has chocolate and wine pairing – YUMMY!
Cape Point
Explore the Cape of Good Hope. This rocky headland is on the coast of the Cape Peninsula and is known for the dramatic cliffs and resident Baboons. Take the day and visit the entire park, while you are that side makes sure you stop by Boulders Beach to meet our African Penguins.
PS: Have a look at our Photography Course Volunteering Project and learn more about South African culture and the environment.
