Social Activities in Cape Town

If you are working at one of our volunteer projects in Cape Town, you can attend activities organised by the Social Club from our language school. You find the schedule below and you can book your favourite activities online. 

The activities are a great way to visit all the must-see places in Cape Town and surroundings. Our Social Club is also a great place to meet other volunteers and international students from the language school.

Cecilia Forest Hike

Explore a different part of Table Mountain today as we hike through Cecilia Forest to the amazing Kirstenbosch Gardens. Once we arrive at the gardens you will have some time to explore and learn about some local vegetation. ± 2.5 hour hike, remember to bring a hat, sunscreen, water, snacks & a jacket.

Pasta Kitchen Volunteer Project

Assist us when we offer a hot bowl of pasta to many residents in need (often homeless) and passers-through in Observatory. More than providing a meal, it’s about creating connections with the people on the streets and developing a long-term strategy to help elevate their lives. Please note that this activity is offered to Pre-Intermediate or higher level students, as you will need to be able to interact and communicate effectively with the local residents

Table Mountain Transfer

Table Mountain is Cape Town's most famous landmark. Hike up or make use of the cable car and enjoy the spectacular panoramic view of the city, take a leisurely stroll around the summit, or simply relax at the top of Table Mountain. Cape Point Full-Day Tour

Cancellation Policy, Terms and Conditions:

It is your responsibility to cancel if you can’t attend a tour or activity. You will be liable for the tour cost if you do not show up for the tour and have not cancelled in time. Cancelation times for short tours: 6hours before departure. For day tours, weekend activities and tours longer than one day: 48hours before departure.

I agree to the condition that, while every precaution will be taken for my safety and welfare and for the care of my possessions, I will hold blameless and indemnify all persons, Good Hope Studies (the School), CapeTowning Tours and all other organizations associated with this tour or activity, should any prejudice, loss, damage, illness or injury occur to me during this tour/activity. This includes an indemnity against recovery of costs resulting from damage, loss and/or medical conditions or hospitalization. 

The company reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation, and transport along the way should circumstances dictate. Many of these outdoor activities are weather dependent, which could force changes in the itinerary. The guide will try his or her best to arrange events according to prevailing weather conditions.
