Social Activities in Cape Town

If you are working at one of our volunteer projects in Cape Town, you can attend activities organised by the Social Club from our language school. You find the schedule below and you can book your favourite activities online. 

The activities are a great way to visit all the must-see places in Cape Town and surroundings. Our Social Club is also a great place to meet other volunteers and international students from the language school.

Bo-Kaap Walking Tour

The Cape Malays, or Cape Muslim community, has largely contributed to the making of the City's cultural melting pot. Explore the street of Bo-Kaap on a walking tour, learn more about the history of this community and get the opportunity to take some beautiful pictures of the colourful houses.

Ocean Kayaking

Transfer to Simonstown where we start our adventure at the Simon's Town Waterfront. We paddle past the civilian and Naval Harbour and out to Boulder's Beach to see the penguins. If the time and tide is right we may stop on a beach for a swimming break.

It is your responsibility to cancel if you can’t attend a tour or activity. You will be liable for the tour cost if you do not show up for the tour and have not cancelled in time. Cancelation times for short tours: 6hours before departure. For day tours, weekend activities and tours longer than one day: 48hours before departure.

I agree to the condition that, while every precaution will be taken for my safety and welfare and for the care of my possessions, I will hold blameless and indemnify all persons, Good Hope Studies (the School), CapeTowning Tours and all other organizations associated with this tour or activity, should any prejudice, loss, damage, illness or injury occur to me during this tour/activity. This includes an indemnity against recovery of costs resulting from damage, loss and/or medical conditions or hospitalization. 

The company reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation, and transport along the way should circumstances dictate. Many of these outdoor activities are weather dependent, which could force changes in the itinerary. The guide will try his or her best to arrange events according to prevailing weather conditions.
