Social Activities in Cape Town

If you are working at one of our volunteer projects in Cape Town, you can attend activities organised by the Social Club from our language school. You find the schedule below and you can book your favourite activities online. 

The activities are a great way to visit all the must-see places in Cape Town and surroundings. Our Social Club is also a great place to meet other volunteers and international students from the language school.

Surf School

Put on a wetsuit, grab a board and make your way to the waves of Muizenberg. If you’re a surfer by nature then rent a board and enjoy your time in the sea otherwise learn how to surf at the best surfing beach in Cape Town. Afterwards you can warm up with a coffee or hot chocolate at one of the many coffee shops in Surfer’s Corner.

Bo-Kaap Walking Tour

Kruger National Park Weekend

3 Day Weekend tour to experience the absolute best that the South African Wildlife has to offer.

We jump on an early flight to Johannesburg and then get on an airconditioned mini-bus for a transfer to the Kruger National Park. Upon arrival we have a welcome drink followed by our first safari.

Day 2: The full day will be spent with an experienced guide on an open safari vehicle in search of the big 5.

Day3: Bush walk with armed ranger along Klaserie River.

Cancelation times for short tours: 6hours before departure. For day tours, weekend activities and tours longer than one day: 48hours before departure.

I agree to the condition that, while every precaution will be taken for my safety and welfare and for the care of my possessions, I will hold blameless and indemnify all persons, Good Hope Studies (the School), CapeTowning Tours and all other organizations associated with this tour or activity, should any prejudice, loss, damage, illness or injury occur to me during this tour/activity. This includes an indemnity against recovery of costs resulting from damage, loss and/or medical conditions or hospitalization. 

The company reserves the right to change the itinerary, accommodation, and transport along the way should circumstances dictate. Many of these outdoor activities are weather dependent, which could force changes in the itinerary. The guide will try his or her best to arrange events according to prevailing weather conditions.
